BB & The Blues Shacks are a German blues band from Hildesheim in Lower Saxony, led by brothers Andrew (born July 28, 1966 guitar) and Michael Arlt (born July 9, 1969 singing and harmonica) as one of the best representatives of the traditional Blues is regarded in Europe. BB & The Blues Shacks now have more than 3,000 live concerts in Germany, Europe, USA, Dubai, Australia and South Africa played (as of 2013).
The band plays "authentic blues" in the style of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Little Walter, T-Bone Walker, Slim Harpo, Walter Horton and Tiny Grimes. "BB & The Blues Shacks master various blues styles such as Chicago blues, Louisiana blues and Delta -Blues the 40s and 50s. It is primarily played his own compositions, but also interpreted pieces of their models as Sonny Boy Williamson.
