Sigmetrix has released an updated GD&T Advisor 2.3 - the preferred GD&T software solution that empowers designers to communicate permissible levels of imperfection in real-world manufactured parts, all from within the CAD environment.

GD&T Advisor version 2.3.1 Maintenance Release:

New Functionality:
GD&T Advisor version 2.3.1 is a maintenance release that includes only minor functionality improvements:
- 'Add entire pattern' option in the Add Feature dialog now supports patterns of drafted features
- Improved support for ASME Y14.14, ISO 16792, and CETOL 6σ v8.4 by defining the reference between feature surfaces used to define datums (i.e. datum features) and the associated CREO Datum Symbol annotation element
Issues Resolved:
- Geometric tolerance with invalid DRF reference not marked as a failed object
- The state of the Start GDTA and Stop GDTA ribbon buttons may become reversed (enabled vs. disabled)
- No Advisor message is being displayed despite a flatness tolerance greater than size tolerance under certain conditions
- Length dimension for slotted hole is not found automatically and is difficult to select manually
- All pattern members deleted despite 'No' being selected for prompt to delete members
- Annotations and datums for sub-feature are deleted with parent feature is modified
- No message when flatness on sub-feature is equal to surface profile on parent feature
- Quantity specification for number of instances in a pattern of threaded metric holes displayed on separate line instead of - preceding the thread specification
- Sheet metal thickness is shown with a fixed precision of 3 digits
- Datum symbol not properly attached to threaded holes used as datum features
- Extra spaces in hole note for a pattern of metric threaded holes
- Unable to disable (E) for table-driven tolerances
- Unable to create a pattern of tapered holes
- Creo checkout errors in Windchill environment under some conditions when GDTA is loaded
- All radius dimensions displayed as candidate dimensions for the diameter of a tapered hole
