Trouble Cats originated in 1987 when the bluesboom rolled over, and the stadium Fatter Eskil in Aarhus was home. The following years, Trouble Cats became one of the much-sought-after names that, along with Ole Frimer Band, Shades of Blue and Kent Thomsen & The Rich Ones, came out of the Aarhus blues scene. The band quickly became busy and played 80-100 annual concerts at home and abroad and released several albums. Trouble Cats appeared in different editions in the 90s and 00s. In 2013, the original quartet was restored. In 2016, a new drummer arrived, and today Trouble Cats are still the ones they've always been: A band with their very own expression and a great love for blues roots and the simple rock'n'roll.
