There are few safe bets in life, even fewer in the music business; however Niagara native and Country music's hottest new star, Tim Hicks is as close to a sure thing as can be found.
Recognized as a hard-working family man who is embedded with his fans, Hicks soared into the Top 10 at Country Radio in less than 8 weeks with his first GOLD single, "Get By" and dominated the digital charts with the #1 selling Canadian Country single for more than 17 weeks - a noteworthy number for any musician let alone a new Country artist.
Hicks' second single, "Hell Raisin' Good Time" rocketed up the charts upon release (currently Top 15 after four weeks), and was the No. 1 most added track at Canadian radio overall (all formats), and is the No. 1 selling Canadian Country digital single three weeks running - proving to be an unyielding preview of the artistry and music mastery to come on Hicks' debut album THROW DOWN.
After only a short seven months on the national stage, Hicks headlined the Halftime Show during the 2013 home opening game for the Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts in front of more than 20,000 fans. Additionally, Hicks garnered a Canadian Country Music Award nomination for Rising Star - fitting for a singer/songwriter who was proclaimed the 'One To Watch' by fans and the industry alike, and has dominated Canadian Country radio and video airplay during the first half of 2013.
