Ann   grew up a lonely single child, and always wanted a dog to snuggle at night and to take for long hikes through the woods or walks along the beach, but her parents wouldn't allow it. Now she's got her own home, and is volunteering at the local animal shelter. Day after day puppies and kittens come and go, and she can't decide which one to adopt. She wants to adopt them all, especially one of the lab puppies.

Clay   always had dogs growing up. His dad and brothers always brought their dogs to work with them on their various construction sites. And now Clay is opening his own business, a brewery in the heart of downtown with a plot of land perfect for a dog park. 
But he doesn't have rights to the land, and the owner refuses to sell.
At least he found the perfect lab puppy to adopt.
