Description :
ICARUS is a session survival simulator in the PvE genre for a company of up to eight people inclusive. The stern Icarus awaits you - the greatest mistake in the history of mankind. In pursuit of wealth, you will have to explore the area, gather, make tools and track down animals.
Prospectors leave the orbital station for a strictly limited time and go to fight the difficult conditions of an alien planet, carry out faction assignments and look for rare and very valuable exo-resources. The survivors return to orbit and use the extracted exomatter to develop new equipment to undertake an even more risky mission with their newfound knowledge. Those who failed to return were destined to disappear without a trace.
At one time, Icarus was planned to be turned into a second Earth, but after an unsuccessful attempt at terraforming, its atmosphere became toxic, and humanity abandoned hope of colonizing the new planet. Icarus has become an eternal topic for jokes, a symbol of the arrogance of a man who dared to aim at the unattainable. However, when xenobiologists found out that the cause of the failure was the so-called exomatter, interest in Icarus awoke again. The discovery of a fabulously expensive resource marked the beginning of a real gold rush and increased political tension on Earth, and prospectors flocked to Icarus.
Game Features
• The cruel PvE world of Icarus seems ready to do anything to exhaust you to the limit and destroy you physically.
A poisonous atmosphere, dangerous animals, fierce storms - Icarus has a lot of character. You will have to plan your actions, be it building a shelter, searching for oxygen, tracking down game or preparing supplies for the road, and every second calculate the situation several steps ahead.
• A deceptively familiar, yet alien world awaits you.
The first team of prospectors is allowed to work on a resource-rich site covering an area of more than 64 km², with varied natural conditions and many inconspicuous nooks and crannies. The entire area is worked out by hand. To survive, rely on the resources available: here you can cut down every tree and break every boulder.
• Master two technology trees: one on the planet, and the second in orbit.
Homemade tools, buildings and mechanisms will help you survive the expedition to the surface of Icarus and achieve your goal. Gain experience on the planet, master unique skills and develop useful talents. Once you return to orbit with rare exo-resources, you will be able to develop more advanced equipment. Choose which skills to develop and which new developments to take on your next mission to complete a task faster, cover greater distances, automate production, or simply increase your chances of survival. There can be no trifles in this matter.
• The time you spend on Icarus is strictly limited: remember to watch your watch and appreciate every second.
You choose the duration of the session: from a couple of hours to days or even weeks. Beware: if you don't manage to get to the shuttle in time, which will take you to the orbital station, they won't come back for you. If you wish, you can take the time to build a permanent base. Each outing has a specific goal, which must be achieved in the allotted time, but only you decide how exactly to act.
• The key to success is your character.
Explore the features of an alien planet, face new dangers and force yourself to leave your comfort zone over and over again. The cautious will survive, but fortune favors the brave. New talents, technologies and exo-resources await those who are willing to risk everything. Are you ready to challenge Icarus?

How to start the game
1. download скачать to a convenient place (the main thing is that there is no Cyrillic alphabet on the path to the game folder)
2. Launch the game from the Icarus.exe file in the main game directory
Why might the game not start?
- Remove the Cyrillic alphabet from the path to the game folder,
- The Windows username should not contain Cyrillic,
- Remove the read-only attribute from the game folder,
- Remove the game folder from the torrent client before launching the game,
- Turn off the antivirus , because it may block the execution of executable and/or additional files.
- As a last resort, download скачать the entire game folder, a new one.
