Description
Bonjour! The aim of this course is to learn to use French in a fun and practical setting. The course was designed with families integrating into a French-speaking area in mind. The content is also relevant for several other groups of learners: babysitters, au-pairs, and teachers of French-speaking children; families seeking to use French as a home language outside of a French-speaking area; families visiting a French-speaking country; and anyone else interested in kid-specific French language. This course is intended for purchase by adults, however some units may be relevant for children under adult supervision. This course differs from other "French for children" courses as it does not focus on days of the week, colors, and shapes; instead, the focus is on playing together, sharing, expressing your wants and needs, and connecting with others. Informal expressions are prioritized over formal French terms in order to highlight the language typically used by French native-speakers.The course has two simultaneous "levels" to account for different French abilities amongst learners: One for complete beginners where the focus is on key words and effective communication, and one for those with a French foundation but who wish to learn more kid-focused language. The course includes a lesson on common French children's games so that you can maximize the association of French and fun.I look forward to guiding you on your language journey. On y va! Let's go!
