This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.Welcome to META ULAGAM VR Drone Academy, a beginner-friendly course designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of drone technology through structured learning and interactive simulation.

In this course, you will build a clear foundation in drone technology, starting with what a drone is and how unmanned aerial systems are described using terms such as UAV and UAS. You will then learn the basic principles of how drones fly and understand the major components that make up a typical drone system.

You will explore important drone components including the frame, motors, propellers, ESCs, flight controller, GPS and sensors. You will also learn the basic concepts of drone assembly and understand how the major components are positioned and brought together to form a complete drone.

The course also introduces the fundamentals of drone control, including throttle, yaw, pitch and roll. These concepts prepare you for the practical simulation activities included in the course.

TheVR Drone Simulator provides an interactive learning experience where you can identify drone components, practise virtual drone assembly and experience basic drone control using a Meta Quest headset.

AWindows Drone Simulator is also included, allowing you to practise basic flight controls using a keyboard without requiring a VR headset.

This course is suitable for beginners, students, technology enthusiasts, educators and anyone who wants to develop a structured understanding of drones and experience drone learning through simulation.
