Commander Jace Wilder runs his SEAL training program with absolute control.
At thirty-nine, the dominant Navy SEAL is known for turning recruits into warriors and breaking anyone who can't handle the pressure. Discipline is everything. Boundaries are clear.
Especially with the trainees under his command.
Then Aubrey arrives.
The determined young recruit may be the smallest in the class, but she refuses to quit. Bruised, exhausted, and stubbornly brave, she keeps getting back up every time the brutal training knocks her down.
Jace notices.
He shouldn't.
The fierce commander knows better than to get close to someone he's responsible for training. But the more he watches Aubrey fight through pain and doubt, the harder it becomes to ignore the pull between them.
Because the moment he realizes how deeply he wants her, one truth settles in his chest.
She's his.
Now the SEAL who's spent his life following orders is fighting a different kind of battle-one between duty and the woman who's slowly claiming his heart.
Protect her.
Push her to become stronger.
And somehow keep his distance from the one woman he wants more than anything.
But some battles were never meant to be won.
Because once Aubrey finishes training, nothing will stand between the hardened SEAL and the woman he's been trying not to love.
A dominant Navy SEAL, a determined trainee, forbidden tension, and a powerful man who falls harder than he ever expected. Forbidden romance has never been this hot!
