All so merciless and bloodthirsty.
But even monsters have things to fear in the dark.   

Vampires are the elite of the Shadow Realm, and since I'm one of them, I should be sitting pretty in the world my parents designed for me... an arranged marriage to some other vamp to continue the bloodlines.
That's my purpose: Marry and have a child.

Simple, right?
It should be. Problem is, I'm a   stunted   vampire. It's no secret, either.
Powers I   should   possess escape me. No matter how hard I train at the Moon Academy, I can't muster a single ability.

It's my final year to break free from this mockery shadowing me, produce some sort of power that makes me worthy to my wicked society. My sole focus will be the manifestation of my dormant powers-
