Both participants of Okean Elzy group and invited musicians, talented performers of jazz, classic and folk music, worked over the album "At Night": Olexiy Saranchin, who performed jazz piano parts, saxophonist Bogdan Gumenyuk, guitarist Olexiy Morozov, the first violin of the string quartet "Collegium" Kyrylo Sharapov and a lot of others. The National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine took part at recording of one of the compositions on the disc.

In spite of that “At Night” compositions do not meet the pop-format, the album is aimed at mass audience. The name, voice and the specific, characteristic of only Svyatoslav Vakarchuk melodics of the compositions will help fans of Ukrainian music become acquainted with new music forms, to seize new music territories.

Okean Elzy (Ukrainian: Океан Ельзи, translation: Elza's Ocean) is one of the most successful and popular Ukrainian rock bands. It was formed in 1994 in Lviv, Ukraine. The band's vocalist and frontman is Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.

Svyatoslav Vakarchuk (Ukrainian: Святослав Іванович Вакарчук; born May 14, 1975, Mukachevo, Ukraine) is the lead vocalist of Okean Elzy, the most successful post-Soviet rock band in Ukraine.
He was active in supporting the Orange Revolution, and is involved in many social and cultural projects. He is one of the most successful musicians in Ukraine and has a degree in theoretical physics. By the year 2007, he has released seven albums together with his band: "Там, де нас нема", "Я на небі був", "Модель", "Холодно", "Суперсиметрія", "Gloria", and "Міра".
The Ukrainian magazine "Korrespondent" ranks him as one of the 100 most influential people of Ukraine (in 2008 ranked 55).
In the early parliamentary elections on September 30, 2007 he appeared as an independent candidate on the Our Ukraine–People's Self-Defense Bloc's list (as nr 15). In the Verkhovna Rada he was a member of the parliamentary committee for freedom of speech questions. In early September 2008 he renounced his seat in the Verkhovna Rada due to the new political crisis.

In November 2008 Vakarchuk released a solo-album called "Vnochi" (In the night)
